Girls Varsity Volleyball took a tough loss in the quarterfinals of the NYSAIS playoffs on Wednesday, losing 1-3 in a hard fought match against Chapin. The first set went very well with everyone communicating soundly, keeping it controlled on defense and putting smart balls down on offense. In the following sets, Chapin came back tougher, taking advantage of our weak spots and playing hard for the win. The team was disappointed with the outcome on Wednesday, but the team fought hard throughout the season. Many younger players were forced to step up this season, due to the injuries of two key leaders on the team: Logan Harlock (VI) and Paige Bohart (VI). Overall though, Girls Varsity Volleyball had a great season and are ready to come back stronger than ever next year!
