Q. How many years have you been playing volleyball for?
I have been playing volleyball for 4 years.
Q. What year did you join the Fieldston Varsity Volleyball?
I joined VVB my junior year.
Q. What do you enjoy most about being on this team?
I love the girls so much. It’s a small team and a lot of us have also played on club teams together so we have gotten super close.
Q. Do you play for a club volleyball team outside of fieldston?
Yes, I play for All Star Empire Volleyball Club.
Q. Does the team participate in any activities together in order to improve chemistry?
We have team dinners and breakfasts, and we had a sleepover! Our group chat is also very active.
Q. What position do you play?
I am a middle blocker.
Q. What do you think has been the key to this team’s success this year?
I think our friendship has made the team really strong this year. We have had to adjust our lineup a lot because of injuries, but we’ve all been really supportive of one another and we know that we can count on everyone.
Q. Which of your previous games has been the toughest matchup?
I would say that Poly Prep has been our toughest matchup.
Q. Do you play any other sports besides volleyball?
I swam freshman and sophomore year, but currently volleyball is my only sport.
Q. After beating Sacred Heart in the first round of the playoffs and heading to the quarterfinals to face Chapin, how confident are you and the rest of the team feeling?
We are feeling great! We did a good job finishing the game quickly and it was a great start for playoffs. The energy is really good and we all are ready and excited to keep chasing the chip!
