Q. How long have you been playing water polo?
This is my 3rd season.
Q. What year did you join the team?
I joined the team in my freshman year.
Q. Why did you decide to play water polo?
I originally joined water polo to get in shape for other sports I was playing at the time. But then I actually began to like water polo more than any other sports.
Q. What’s your favorite part about being a part of the team?
It always has and always will be the culture of the team and my teammates. While some practices or games may be hard, it’s always reassuring to know that I’m not the only one going through it. There is nothing like going into the locker room with your teammates after a hard practice or game and being able to being able to blast music and talk with my teammates.
Q. Does the team participate in any outside activities together in order to improve chemistry?
During preseason we went to Dave and Busters. This Friday we are going to the coach's house for a barbecue.
Q. Are you playing other sports for Fieldston besides water polo?
Currently, I am not.
Q. What’s the team's record this year?
We are 2-9, with three tournament wins.
Q. What position do you play?
Either shooter or wing.
Q. Which of your previous games has been the toughest matchup?
I would have to say our matchup against St. Peters.
Q. Are you planning on playing for the team next year?
Yeah of course, I love the dynamic we have together and continuing to improve every match.
Q. What do you think the team needs to do in order to finish with a better record next year?
We need to score more goals first and foremost. We need to work on finishing, because the opportunities are always there.
