Q. How long have you been playing basketball?
I’ve been playing basketball since 5th grade, so 6 years!
Q. What year did you join the team?
I made the varsity team my freshman year in fall 2017.
Q. What’s your favorite part about being on the team?
I love being able to play almost every day. Especially after stressful days of school, I appreciate getting into the gym and playing a sport I enjoy with a great group of teammates.
Q. Does the team participate in any outside activities together in order to improve chemistry?
We have dinners and other activities such as a holiday gift exchange to enhance the team’s chemistry.
Q. Are you playing other sports for Fieldston besides basketball?
At Fieldston, I am running spring track in addition to playing basketball.
Q. What’s the team's record this year?
After winter break, we entered the back half of the season at 4-4.
Q. What position do you play?
I typically play shooting guard.
Q. Which of your previous games has been the toughest matchup?
Our first league game of the season was a tough matchup against Poly Prep on their home court. We hope to improve on our past performance when we play them again at Fieldston.
Q. Are you planning on playing for the team next year?
Absolutely!
Q. What has been the highlight of the first few weeks of the season so far?
A highlight of the first few weeks of the season was our strong performance in the Fieldston Tip-Off Classic. Our first games of the season, we won the first and fought until the very end of the championship game, losing to a well-coached and competitive team.
