Fieldston vs Nightingale 10/7/19
Today Fieldston JV volleyball had a tough loss against Nightingale with a score of 1-2. The first set Fieldston came out strong and dominated Nightingale. In the second set, Nightingale won, but the score was closer than in the first set. The third set was a tough loss and Fieldston only lost by 2 with a score of 24-26. Fieldston’s front line played well and made smart decisions by not consistently hitting, but also tipping and hitting many roll shots.
Fieldston vs Horace Mann 10/11/19
Today Fieldston JV volleyball played a fantastic match against Horace Mann and came out with the win, 2-1. The first set and second set both ended in a score of 25-14. The third set was a tough loss of 25-27, but the team played hard and got the score up when they were down by 7 points at the beginning. Today, there were very consistent serves all around and some aces were made by Henry Rauch, (freshman) Milena De Angeles, (freshman) and Rylee Landau (sophomore). There was also great serve receive today and energy was high as well as communication.
