The Boys Junior Varsity Soccer team had yet another unsuccessful week. Even though the team only played one game, it was the team’s only home game at Fieldston during the entire season. Throughout the season the team has lost nine games, but seven of those games they were outscored by only one. This game against arch-rival Horace Mann was no exception. They lost by a final score of 1-2. It was a very balanced match and both defenses held strong. The Eagles goalie, Wyatt Rexer, (freshman) had a spectacular game and earned himself Man of the Match. Both team’s offenses had trouble and were unable to capitalize on most chances. Horace Mann managed to score a few lucky goals even though the Eagles had more possession of the ball. For the Eagles, Lucas Gorman (freshman) had a great shot that went in with four minutes to go, however, there wasn't enough time for the Eagles to score another. Another sad result for the Boys Junior Varsity Team as they enter their final four games determined to win some games.
