Although the Water Polo team lost their matchup with Trinity today, they were able to clinch 2nd place in the IVY standings! The team lost 12-9 today with the leading scorers, Lucas Mittman and Colin Bloom, each scoring a few, and a crucial penalty shot by Nate Flowers, which secured 2nd place. The team now has an official record of 6-5, with a record of 3-3 against IVY league opponents. A record of 6-5 accomplishes the team's goal of finishing about .500, and the way they played as a team has exceeded everybody's expectations. The playoffs begin next Wednesday against Trinity, and whichever team wins goes up against the winner of Horace Mann vs Riverdale in the Finals!
